As the pilot for the CBS Supergirl series airs, here’s a trailer that shows us some of the action we can expect to see over the course of the first season. Watch for yourself, or check out these action-packed screens that we’ve stacked up for you. Yes, we’re having a little fun with the fact that this is a young-adult-oriented show and that the main character is a young lady. Looks like there will be some good action and decent effects shots. Red Tornado is expected to appear in the series; I think we’re seeing him here, though I hope the story explains why the costume looks so much like, well, a costume. Anyway, here’s to hoping that Supergirl will show us more heroics and not so much hugging.
